Me

Today I’m going to talk about what made me write this blog in the first place, and that is the feeling of being misunderstood. Its not a good feeling to be alone in your own thoughts. So for me, I write them down, then later I can go back and read them and better rationalise the situations. I have come to find out that I am not like a normal person at all. When I feel, I feel with everything in me. When I hurt, I BIG hurt. When I love, my love has no limits, no filter, it just flows out. On top of all of the emotions, there are always thoughts. Some good, some bad, some dark, some light. But something in me tells me to keep going, keep pushing, you got this!😰 its not an easy fight. Its a constant battle. A forever war ground against, well, my own mind. Some days I have a hard time believing what is real or what isn’t. I feel like I know myself….but I don’t trust my mind anymore. My brain has taken me through some stuff that I wouldnt wish on my own worst enemy! I didn’t know for quite a long time in my life that I had been suffering from a depression disorder. What I did know, is that I wasnt normal. I did some crazy things, things that dont make any sense at all. Things that are totally out of character for me. Things that I am still trying to get through to this day. It wasnt until about 8 years ago, having a complete breakdown, and admitting to myself, that I needed help, that I finally reached out for the first time. I didn’t want to die, I dont want to die, but I came so close so many times. I do not consider myself a victim, nor will I ever consider myself a hero, but what I am is a survivor; I have accepted that there arent many people who can understand what its like to be me, and thats ok, because there is only one me. Lets help each other get through this! 💓 every tomorrow counts! Lets help each other see the sun again!
